Thanks to the warm and nutrient-rich ocean currents that come with the Gulf Stream, the region is home to an abundance of birdlife and a rare variety of flora. Among the most distinctive birds: white-tailed eagle, gannet, gannet, cormorant, puffin, razorbill, guillemot, heron, kittiwake and swan. At sea, we can also meet seals and, if we're lucky, various whale species.
